ABOUT BRICK ME

How do I hang my Brick Pic on a wall?

We recommend two options for putting your beautiful creations up for display.

Frame it. You can get a frame from us that will fit your Brick Pic perfectly, or get a custom frame from a frame shop. Watch our video to learn how to frame your Brick Pic!

Attach the baseplates directly to the wall using our special Nano Mounting Strips. The strips use a special no-glue technology and can be attached, removed, and reused many times leaving no residue and without damaging the wall.

Do I get to build the brick mosaic myself? Are there instructions?

Yes! Our simple instructions are like paint-by-numbers, only with bricks. Just place the transparent baseplate over the coloured numbers grid, and start building your picture. It’s super easy and great fun to do either by yourself or with friends and family!

I don't want to build it myself. Can you build the brick mosaic for me?

Due to low demand for this service, we currently only offer mosaic assembly services for our commercial customers. Please contact us for more information.

How many bricks are in each baseplate?

Our baseplate has 24x24 studs, so it fits 576 bricks.

Why is my picture so pixelated in the Creator app?

In the brick mosaic, each brick is a “pixel”. Because the size of the bricks does not change (each brick is 8x8 mm), the only way to increase the resolution of the image is to increase the overall size of the picture. Images with a lot of detail (e.g. several people in one image) will look very pixelated on smaller mosaic sizes. We recommend choosing images with less detail for smaller sizes (e.g. a close-up picture of one face) and go for larger sizes if your image has more details. You can also crop the image to “zoom in” on the more relevant area of your image to increase its resolution.

How big can my Brick Pic be? Is there a maximum size?

You can go big... very big! The "advanced" Creator App (available when you access using a computer) has a limit of 20x20 baseplates, which is almost 4 by 4 metres! Want to go bigger? No worries. Just contact us and we will provide a custom quote.

Can I use any image?

Yes you can, as long as it follows our terms of service. Some pictures work better than others – check out our tips for choosing the best image in our Brick Blog!

How long does it take to build?

On average, it should take around 45 minutes per baseplate. Don’t worry if it takes you longer – the next one will be quicker!

Are there any age restrictions?

Our products are not suitable for children under the age of 3. The small bricks can be a choking hazard, so watch your toddlers around them!

How many colours do you have?

We have 50 different colours! Our wide range of colours allows us to create the best and most realistic and colourful brick mosaics in the world.

How much does a Brick Mosaic cost?

How to connect the baseplates together?

The baseplates do not directly connect to each other. The best way to put the mosaic together is to mount it on a wall. See "How do I hang my Brick Pic on a wall?"

What sizes are available?

Our baseplates come in one size: 24x24 studs (19.2 x 19.2 cm). You can combine these baseplates to create brick mosaics of a wide range of sizes. For example, 3 by 4 baseplates (12 baseplates total) will give you a size of 76.8 by 57.6 centimetres.

Do you use LEGO bricks?

Our bricks are not LEGO branded, but they are compatible with LEGO bricks. We have many colours in our colour palette that are not available as official LEGO colours.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING COSTS

Do you deliver to my country?

We deliver worldwide via Australia Post.

Do you have a store that I can come to?

We are an online-only business. This helps us keep prices affordable!

Where are you located?

We are Australian based and owned. Our warehouse is located in Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.

How can I check the status of my order?

2-3 business days after the date of purchase we will send you a confirmation email with your order’s tracking number. You can use it to track your order on the Australia Post website. Feel free to contact us if there is a delay or any other issue.

How long does it usually take for my order to arrive?

We normally dispatch orders 1-2 business days from the date of purchase, from our warehouse in Chatswood NSW, Australia. Estimated delivery times depend on your location and delivery method (standard or express). We use Australia Post for deliveries, you can check their website for domestic (Australia) delivery times here, and international delivery times here. Check out our shipping policy page for more information on shipping.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs will depend on your location and the size of your order, and will be automatically calculated at checkout.

PRIVACY AND DATA POLICY

How are my images stored? Can I delete them?

Your images are saved as part of your saved designs in your Brick Me Account. You can choose to delete a design which will delete the uploaded image as well.

RETURNS AND WARRANTY

What if I’m not happy with the product, can I get a refund?

Yes, however there are some conditions. Please check our Refund Policy for more information.

Do you have a warranty?

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we guarantee the quality of all plastic products (baseplates and bricks) for up to 5 years.

I have missing / damaged items in my Brick Me kit. What can I do?

Your Brick Me Kit will contain lots of extras of all the bricks you need, so you will likely find yourself with bricks to spare.

If your Brick Me kit arrived with missing or damaged items (like bricks or baseplates), we sincerely apologise for that.

We prepare each individual kit by hand, and although we try to always get it right, on rare occasions mistakes do happen.

We will of course get any missing or damaged items sent to you free of charge. To do that, please fill out our Items Replacement Form by following the link below.
