Brick Me was born in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Stuck at home, we were thinking about new ways to pass the time. Itâs not that there was nothing to do (itâs 2020, weâre subscribed to at least 5 streaming services), but weâre creative people... we need to create!
Honestly, weâre not the first to come up with turning photos into brick mosaics. A quick Google search will tell you that. But nothing we could find was good enough. Either you need to download complicated software, or you need to source the bricks yourself, or you need to get someone else to do your design. No one offered a simple app that letâs you design your own brick mosaic, and then order it as a kit with parts and instructions.
So we started working. Laying the foundations of our vision, brick by brick (haha, sorry). We imagined an app that is simple, fun, and full of possibilities. Tons of colours to choose from. Easy and free to share on social media. We wanted to be bricking the limits! (ok weâre not sorry).
