An artist at heart since the age of 14, Joséphine Machalani has always considered creation as an essential language. Her contemporary approach is distinguished by a hybrid technique she invented and refined: a method of manual pixelization that merges the precision of digital aesthetics with the materiality of painting. Each work is born from a meticulous process — matching digital colors to a custom acrylic palette and transposing them onto a three-dimensional canvas. This patient and methodical practice transforms the image into a vibrant mosaic, where each pixel becomes a tangible brushstroke.

Evaporation explores the delicate tension between what fades and what remains, translating this quiet duality into a structured brick composition.
The design shifts between clarity and dissolution: one part defined, the other gently fragmented, as if memory itself were dissolving into pixels.
